little flower school

yesterday i took the amaryllis class at little flower school in redhook, brooklyn. the class is taught by sarah ryhanen of saipua and nicolette owen of nicolette camille. sarah and nicolette are amazingly talented, fun women with a knack for teaching their craft to total novices (me) and masters alike.

although my bouquet did not include all that was provided, this is was was available to the class: amaryllis desire, amaryllis charisma, icelandic poppes, black centered and green centered anemones, parrot libretto tulips, black jewel tulips, santander tulips, french tulips, hyacinth, fritillary (checkered lillies), carnations, andromeda, orchids, berzelia, eucalyptus, white quince, galax leaves

a backyard wedding

my dear friends, cameron and nick, were married about a month ago, now. i have put off posting about the event mostly because selecting which images to use proved so difficult. the whole day was magical. from the brainstorming to the wedding bells, it was a joy and honor to be a part of such an amazing production. thank you.

damariscotta farmers market

friday's farmers market just kept getting better and better. picked out flowers. ate a doughnut. met a dog. got some wool. (not pictured: the cheese and bread and berries that also came home with us)
