last weekend the family gathered at my grandmother's house. in the week leading up, filled with anticipation, i put my energy into handkerchief-making. i made six hankies out of nani iro's fuwari fuwari for the ladies and nine of the grey saaa saa for the boys. we're all gathering again in a few weeks for my pop's 60th birthday. party favors are a must. i better start brainstorming now.

uncle's rehearsal dinner

a week after cameron's wedding in los angeles i flew to deer valley, utah for my uncle henry's wedding. i helped with some rehearsal dinner stuff. i kept it simple and similar to the invitations. oh and of course uncle wray, the best man, needed a hankie for the big day, mostly because i was a blubbering fool. (hankie: white cloud 9 organic cotton with one pea soup shot cotton edge / embroidered in a green cotton floss)
